Where do your food donations go?

Churches in Mission: Mooresville food pantry serving all of Morgan County

As Backyard Farm Collective launched the Monrovia Community Garden, we became increasingly aware of the need to supply our local food pantries with healthy food to feed families in need in Morgan County.

"In May 2020, the organization filled 420 food orders. In May 2025, they filled 1,002, averaging 45 orders a day." 

Churches in Mission is also a central hub for other Morgan County pantries to source from when they have additional needs that are unable to be fulfilled. We also love that they educate the public on how to cook healthy meals. Your abundance of garden produce goes a long way. You can learn more about Churches in Mission on their website.

Each year,  many gardeners have an abundance of produce that goes to waste. We are bridging a gap and collecting the produce that you are not using and getting it to the local food pantries to feed Morgan County families in need.
