HQ Construction
Backyard Farm Collective Headquarters construction is underway. Current needs, dreams, and desires include:
-Plants! We have a lot of ground to plant in, we have focused a lot of our labor into soil health. Now time to grow!
-A prettier and more accessible fence to protect veggies from pests and our guard dogs, Smith and Wes.
-Educational Tools / Materials: Informational Plaques, White board, Benches for classes
-Compost Bins Constructed
-Chicken Coop Built

Monrovia Community Garden
Monrovia's first Community Garden project is being built! We need volunteers and donations!
Current needs:
- Plant Starts, Fruit Tree, Berry Bushes / Vines
- Pest Repellant Plants
- Rainwater collection system
- Trencher / Ditch Witch

Food Distribution Van
BFC's mission is to improve the local food security. Delivering harvested produce to food banks and the door steps of families in need is a critical part of this mission. Founder, Christopher Lamberson, has offered his van to be used to complete this part of the mission. But it still needs upgrades to be suitable for food delivery. Current needed upgrades for produce delivery are Shelving, Insulation, and Air Conditioning.
This Van also has the potential to transport Volunteers to and from events that benefit the community and our mission. Seats have been acquired but have yet to be installed.
Financial contributions as well as donations of labor and/or parts would be greatly appreciated!
